

TRAINCATION IN MALTA WITH YAZMIN STEVENS!

I’m beyond excited to invite you to my very first TRAINCATION, happening from 6th April to 13th April 2025—a dream week of training, adventure, and relaxation on the beautiful island of Malta, the place I was born and raised.
This isn’t just a training camp; it’s a full experience where we push ourselves in the gym, recover in paradise, and explore the island together.
We’ll be training at Training Room, my gym and basically my second home at this point! Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned athlete, there’s a place for you.
Expect intense and fun sessions, where I’ll share everything I know about weightlifting while also learning from you and your experiences. But this week isn’t just about the gym—we’ll balance our hard work with beach days, spa recovery sessions, and SUP-ing at my favorite hidden spot. We’ll kick things off with a welcome dinner at my go-to pizzeria and wrap up with a relaxing pool day to celebrate an unforgettable week together.

Who can join the TRAINCATION
with Yazmin Stevens?
Anyone with any experience in weightlifting is welcome to join! Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been lifting for years, there’s a place for you on this trip. It doesn’t matter if you’re following your own program or if you’d rather follow the program I’ll be coaching throughout the week—you’re free to train in the way that works best for you. The goal of this TRAINCATION is to bring together weightlifters from around the world, training alongside each other, learning from each other, and pushing each other to be better. Think of it as our own international training hall, where we lift, grow, and have an amazing time together both in and out of the gym. If you love weightlifting and want to experience it in a whole new way, this week is for you!


ITINERARY
DAY 1
When you arrive at the airport, our driver will be there to greet you, help with your bags, and take you straight to your hotel in Sliema. Once you’ve settled in, take some time to explore—check out the apartment’s pool, stroll along the promenade, and get a feel for the area while everyone else arrives.
Then, it’s time to officially kick things off with our welcome dinner, where you’ll meet the rest of the crew and start making new friends. I’ll also be there to finally meet you guys in person, and discuss the week's plans while we enjoy a slice of pizza—on Training Room! 🍕🔥

DAY 2
8:00 : Wake and prepare, explore nearby breakfast locations or make your own in your apartment kitchenette
10:30: Transport to Training Room
11:00: First session of the week. I'll meet you guys here and discuss our program for the day! I will have a weightlifting program designed for us this week, but if you're following your own and want to continue doing so, please go ahead! I'll still be able to look over technique and offer any advice!
14:00: Finish up at the gym, transport back to the apartment. If you prefer, you can shower at Training Room and head out to explore the island of Malta! Whatever you end up doing: get some down-time before the second session at TR.
18:15 Pick-up for an evening Sunset Mobility Session at the beach!
19:00 MOBILITY session with Training Room's Mobility coach Will! I'll meet you at the beach and join for a well needed evening stretch sesh.
20:00 Head back to the hotel to grab a quick bite, exploring alone or with your new lifting pals.


DAY 3
08:00: Wake up ... or sleep in! You're on TRAINCATION.
10:00: This morning you're going to want to bring your beach bag for the gym because we're heading to one of Malta's most popular beaches post sesh!
11:00: Second session of the week! Let's get some good lifts in. Our main content guy, Richi, will be there to grab some cute insta snaps to make everyone back home jealous of your TRAINCATION!
14:00: Pickup for the afternoon tanning sesh at the beach! Don't worry, of course there's food...You can either eat at the restaurant on the sandy beach, or order food delivery WHEREVER YOU ARE. (Malta's known for super fast food deliveries over several apps)
18:00 Return to hotel, and get an early night or head out on the town to explore some more!

DAY 4
9:00 Mid-week team breakfast! Pack your bags for the gym a little earlier today, I'm going to take you to one of my favourite breakfast spot pre-training.
11:00: Gym time!
14:00: Head back to your apartments post session and get some downtime. Hit the pool, go for a swim close by to the apartments, take a nap or grab a bite... The options are limitless.
17:00 Let's get over to the my go-to spa here in Malta, INA Spa, for some well needed TLC. Chill inside saunas, ice baths, steam rooms and more.
19:00: Get Home, shower, chill and get the crew together for dinner or opt for a chill night. (PS; you're in one of the best areas for nightlife in Malta...)



DAY 5
7:30 Get some breakfast and get ready for your day off!
10:00: Pick up to head over to Golden Bay! We have a full beach day here with opportunities to paddle board, take a quick visit to blue lagoon in Comino, or just lay and tan on the beach. There's a few restaurants to chose from for a quick bite later for lunch, or you can even order via one of the several apps and get WHATEVER you want delivered to you right on the beach.
14:00 or 16:30- Whenever we're ready to head home, we have 2 transportation times booked for you to head back to your apartments.
19:00: Because we want to make the most out of your day off, we've arranged transport to Malta's capital city. Come with me as I take you to explore Malta's beautiful buildings and view points, and grab a bite from one of the hundreds of restaurants available in Valletta.
DAY 6
8:00: Rise and shine for another training day.
10:30: Collection for Training Room for the first session of the day.
11:00: Rest day was fun, but we need to get those legs lifting some weight again!
14:00: Get a lunch crew together! We'll take a taxi over to Mdina, Malta's ex-Capital City and home to several scenes from Game of Thrones. After a quick bite make sure to head over to Fontanella for the best view of the Silent city and the BEST chocolate cake you'll ever have.. (tried and tested several times by yours truly)
18:00: Head back to the apartments for an early evening! We start the day off early tomorrow for the final full day!
20:00: SUPER EARLY TO BED.



DAY 7
06:00: Early start to the day!
06:45: Pick up to head over to Training Room
07:00-09:00: Last training session together. Pack your things and get ready to head over to your final day activity! The pool day closing party! This is the final activity I will be with you, so we're gonna make the best out of it! Let me answer any of your questions, and get to know you better one last time over a cocktail while we sit in the sun!
Closing time: At closing time, either head back to the apartments to freshen up and take on Paceville, or stay out in Sliema (if you have the energy...) Remember this is your final night with the team! So make it count.
DAY 8
This is where you say goodbye! Your transport will be organised depending on your departure time at the airport. In the meantime, feel free to use the gym between 08:00-11:00; or grab one last bite with the team. It's up to you! Make sure to get all the selfies in to cherish the friendships made <3


WHERE WILL YOU STAY?
The Sliema Suites are modern self-catering apartments in the most ideal location in Malta. A 9 minute walk from Balluta Bay, 25 minute walk from The Point shopping complex and only 18 minutes walk from the ferry that takes you directly to the capital city, Valletta! The Sliema suites are also situated in one of the most densely restaurant populated areas. Whether it's a Parisian style breakfast at Manouche, a quick make-your-own-sandwich from Bread&Beyond (our personal favourite), or a fancy dinner with a spectacular view at TORA you're most definitely sorted food-wise. But apart from filling in your tummies, the area around the Sliema Suites ensures you'll get some of the best parts of the island within footsteps away. Beautiful breaches and historic building are all around!.

Terms & Conditions

Age Requirement: All participants must be at least 18 years old.

Flights & Visas: The listed packages do not include flights to or from Malta, nor any connecting flights en route. TRAINCATION / Training Room / Yazmin is not responsible for any required visas to enter Malta.

Package Inclusions & Additional Costs: The packages cover only the services and experiences explicitly listed in the three columns. Any additional costs—including extra transportation, meals, activities, or personal expenses—must be covered by the participant.

Gym Access: The included gym pass is valid only during designated TRAINCATION hours, as per the itinerary. Additional sessions may be arranged with the host, subject to availability.

Waiver & Responsibility: Participants must sign a health and safety waiver upon booking. While a TRAINCATION host will be available at all times, participants are responsible for their own well-being during scheduled activities and free time.

Activity Participation & Itinerary Changes:

Participants may choose to skip any itinerary-listed activity, but this will not result in a reduced fee or refund.

The itinerary is subject to change, with certain activities potentially replaced by alternatives of similar value and experience. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

Extended Stays: If participants arrive before April 6, 2025, or stay beyond April 13, 2025, they must arrange and cover their own accommodation and expenses. However, airport transfers will still be available for those arriving earlier or departing later.

INA Spa Pass: Grants access to the indoor pool, sauna, and ice baths. Any additional spa services will incur extra charges.

Training with Yazmin Stevens:
-
Yazmin Stevens will lead all training sessions and provide a training program for those interested.
-
She will offer coaching and advice while training alongside participants but will not conduct one-on-one coaching.
-
Yazmin will attend specific group activities as per the itinerary.
-
In the event of illness or injury preventing Yazmin from attending a session, a replacement coach will be arranged. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Insurance Requirement: Participants must secure their own travel insurance, covering both travel and health for the duration of their stay in Malta.

Room Allocation: Rooms will be assigned in the order of bookings received. For double-sharing bookings, participants will be paired with another participant of the same gender unless otherwise requested

From the first TRAINCATION idea to all the logistics: Here is the team that make TRAINCATIONS happen! Yazmin first thought of a gym vacation concept after so many of her weightlifting friends would visit her for training camps in Malta. She understood the appeal and what her island had to offer, and after taking over Training Room, making this concept a reality just made sense! After presenting the idea to her colleague and friend, Clive, the concept turned in TRAINCATIONS.
