Training Room Shines at Marbella Championships: Impressive Performance in Individual and Team Rx Categories

Four Training Room coaches and one TR member proudly represented the community at the Marbella Championships, held from October 4th to 6th. This annual event, known for its stunning beachside setting in Puerto Banus and challenging workouts in the Marbella Arena, attracted top athletes from around the world.
Federico Judais Makes a Strong Individual International Debut
Federico Judais, competing in the highly competitive Individual Men’s Rx category, marked his first international appearance as an individual athlete. Against a tough field of 42 participants, Federico delivered a solid performance, finishing 26th overall after five grueling workouts. His standout moment came in the "Dukić Strong" event, where he finished 12th, excelling in deficit handstand push-ups and heavy cleans. The Individual Men’s Rx title was claimed by British athlete Nathan Bland, with Spain’s Fran Cejas and Sweden’s Dennis Soderman taking 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
3 Blondes and a Brunette Impress with a Top-10 Finish
In the team competition, Dimitrije Avramovic, Anastasiya Plyushkina, Yasmin Zammit Stevens, and Shaun Pace—competing as "3 Blondes and a Brunette"—delivered an outstanding performance. Originally formed with Javier, the team underwent a late change when Javier was unable to travel, with TR member Shaun Pace stepping in. Shaun, who trains with the TR family when visiting from abroad, proved to be a valuable addition.
Despite finishing 26th in the online qualifiers, the team surged through the championship, climbing the ranks to finish an impressive 7th out of 26 teams. They excelled in multiple events, with their best results being three 8th-place finishes in "The Tortoise and the Hare," "Time to Shine," and "Early Birds."
The team completed nine workouts over the three days, accumulating 460 points. The Rx Teams event was won by the British squad "Rig Shakers," with Denmark’s "Team Only ShortCuts" and Britain’s "Distinct Performance" securing 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
