TRAINCATION IN MALTA WITH YAZMIN STEVENS!

Hey everyone, it’s Yazmin Stevens! ​​​​

After an incredible response to the first edition, I’m so excited to announce the second TRAINCATION, once again hosted by me—happening this summer from 22nd to 29th June 2025, right here in Malta!

This week is all about powerful training, proper recovery, and Mediterranean adventure. We’ll be lifting at Training Room—my gym and second home—pushing ourselves in every session, learning from each other, and enjoying everything this beautiful island has to offer.

​​What makes the training side of TRAINCATION so special is that I’ll be training alongside you. We’re in this together! I’ll be sharing tips, guidance, and support throughout the week, whether it’s your first time in a weightlifting gym or you’ve been lifting for years. I’ve designed a special program for our time together, built off my widely loved 8-week training block. And by the end of the week—if it feels right—we might even try going a little heavier on your lifts!

But don’t stress about numbers. Whether you're snatching 25kg or 60kg, you’ll have your new TRAINCATION pals right behind you, cheering you on and pushing you to be your strongest self.

If you're following your own program, that’s totally fine too! Just send it over to me beforehand, and I’ll take a look so I can still guide and support you throughout the week.

Outside the gym, everything we do is basically a collection of my favourite things to do on the island—beach days, spa recovery, stand-up paddle boarding, and even a trip to Comino to explore the stunning Blue Lagoon.

We’ll kick things off with a welcome dinner at my favourite pizza place, and I’ll be joining you for most of the activities throughout the week—sharing my stories, hanging out, and just soaking up the sun with you all.

Whether you’re brand new to lifting or a seasoned athlete, there’s a place for you. Come train with me, meet an amazing crew of like-minded lifters, and make some unforgettable memories.

Who can join the TRAINCATION 
with Yazmin Stevens?

Anyone with any experience in weightlifting is welcome to join! Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been lifting for years, there’s a place for you on this trip. It doesn’t matter if you’re following your own program or if you’d rather follow the program I’ll be coaching throughout the week—you’re free to train in the way that works best for you. The goal of this TRAINCATION is to bring together weightlifters from around the world, training alongside each other, learning from each other, and pushing each other to be better. Think of it as our own international training hall, where we lift, grow, and have an amazing time together both in and out of the gym. If you love weightlifting and want to experience it in a whole new way, this week is for you!

ITINERARY

DAY 1

When you arrive at the airport, our driver will be there to greet you, help with your bags, and take you straight to your hotel in Sliema. Once you’ve settled in, take some time to explore—check out the hotel’s pool, stroll along the promenade, and get a feel for the area while everyone else arrives.

Then, it’s time to officially kick things off with our welcome dinner, where you’ll meet the rest of the crew and start making new friends. I’ll also be there to finally meet you guys in person, and discuss the week's plans while we enjoy a slice of pizza—on Training Room! 🍕🔥

DAY 2

8:00 – Start your day at your own pace. Wake up, get ready, and either check out a local breakfast spot nearby or whip something up in your apartment kitchenette*.

10:30 – Transport to Training Room.

11:00 – Time for our first session of the week! I’ll meet you at the gym, where we’ll go over the plan for the day. I’ve prepared a full weightlifting programme for the week, but if you’re already following your own, feel free to stick with it—I’ll still be around to check your technique and offer feedback whenever you need it.

14:00 – Session done! You can either hop on the transport back to the apartment or freshen up at Training Room and head straight out to explore Malta. However you spend your afternoon, make sure to get a bit of downtime before the evening session.

18:15 – Pick-up for a Sunset Mobility Session.

18:30 – Unwind with a relaxing mobility session led by Will, Training Room’s in-house mobility coach. I’ll meet you at the beach and join you for a much-needed stretch as the sun sets.

19:30 – Head back to the apartment and grab some dinner—solo or with your new lifting crew. The evening’s yours to relax and recharge.

*Kitchenette only available with certain rooms, and needs to be requested before booking.

DAY 3

07:00 – Rise and shine… or sleep in—this is TRAINCATION, after all. Take the morning at your own pace and fuel up with a good breakfast.

09:30 – Let’s get back on the platform for our second training session of the week! We’ll keep building on the momentum with some quality lifting. Richi will be on-site to capture all the action (and those golden post-lift shots) for your socials—because if you didn’t post it, did it even happen?

16:30 – After training, we’re heading out to explore Mdina—the Silent City. This ancient, walled town is full of charm, history, and stunning architecture. You’ll have time to wander its quiet streets, grab a coffee with a view, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

18:30 – Next stop: Mgarr! We’ll travel there together and sit down for a traditional Maltese dinner at one of my favourite local restaurants. Expect warm hospitality and delicious dishes like rabbit stew, ftira, and freshly baked local bread.

21:00 – Back to the apartments. Wind down for the evening, grab a shower, and either rest up for tomorrow—or if you’re still buzzing, head out and enjoy the local nightlife.

DAY 4

09:00 – Mid-week breakfast with the team! Today, we’re starting a little earlier—pack your gym bag and come hungry because I’m taking you to one of my all-time favourite breakfast spots before we hit the gym.

11:00 – Back at Training Room for another solid session. Let’s keep the energy high and support each other through it—halfway through the week already!

14:00 – After three back-to-back training days, it’s time to slow things down. We’re heading to the beach for some well-earned rest and recovery. Bring your towel, snacks, and good vibes—it’s a chill afternoon in the sun.

19:00 – Back to the apartment to freshen up and wind down. Whether you’re feeling a quiet night in or want to head out for dinner with the crew, you’re in one of Malta’s best nightlife spots—so the choice is yours.

DAY 5

07:30 – REST DAY. Sleep in, take it slow, and enjoy a relaxed morning—you’ve earned it.

10:00 – We’re off to INA Spa, my go-to recovery spot in Malta. Expect a blissful few hours of relaxation with access to the sauna, indoor pool, and a complimentary massage that’s included in your TRAINCATION package. Time to recharge those muscles!

17:00 – To make the most of your rest day, we’ve arranged evening transport to Valletta, Malta’s stunning capital city. Join me as we wander through historic streets, take in the views from the city’s best lookouts, and enjoy dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants dotted around town.

DAY 6

08:00 – Rise and shine—it’s time to get back to business with another big training day!

10:30 – Pick-up for Training Room. Today’s session is a big one, so bring the energy!

11:00 – The rest day was a treat, but now it’s time to get those legs moving again. Let’s lift heavy, move well, and make this session count.

14:00 – The afternoon is all yours! Whether you fancy some shopping, another stroll through Valletta, or just lounging by the beach—take this time to enjoy Malta your way.

18:00 – Head back to the apartments and start winding down. We’ve got an early start tomorrow for our final full day together.

20:00 – SUPER early to bed—no complaints; you’ll thank me in the morning!

DAY 7

06:00 – Early rise for our final full day—let’s make it count!

06:45 – Pick-up to head over to Training Room.

07:00–09:00 – Our last training session together. Let’s lift, move, and soak in the energy one last time! After the session, pack up and get ready—we’re off on an island adventure.

09:30 – We’re heading to Comino, Malta’s sister island, for a tour of the iconic Blue Lagoon. Swim in crystal-clear waters, explore the coastline, and enjoy some final sun-soaked moments together.

13:30 – After Comino, we’re making our way back to Golden Bay. Grab a quick lunch with the group, then we’re heading out for a stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP) session along the scenic coastline.

18:00 – Return to the apartments for a well-deserved rest. You’ve earned it.

 

Evening – If you’ve still got energy to spare, head out to PV—the heart of Malta’s clubbing scene—for one last celebration with your new lifting crew.

DAY 8

Departure Day – Time to say goodbye (for now!)

Your airport transport will be arranged based on your individual departure time—so no need to worry, we’ve got you covered.

In the meantime, you’re welcome to make the most of your final morning. The gym will be open from 08:00–11:00 if you fancy one last session, or head out for a farewell breakfast with your new lifting crew.

Whatever you choose, don’t forget to snap those final selfies, exchange socials, and soak up every last moment. Thank you for being part of this unforgettable week—we’ve trained hard, explored harder, and made memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Age Requirement: All participants must be at least 18 years old.

  2. Flights & Visas: The listed packages do not include flights to or from Malta, nor any connecting flights en route. TRAINCATION / Training Room / Yazmin  is not responsible for any required visas to enter Malta.

  3. Package Inclusions & Additional Costs: The packages cover only the services and experiences explicitly listed in the four columns. Any additional costs—including extra transportation, meals, activities, or personal expenses—must be covered by the participant.

  4. Gym Access: The included gym pass is valid only during designated TRAINCATION hours, as per the itinerary. Additional sessions may be arranged with the host, subject to availability.*

  5. Waiver & Responsibility: Participants must sign a health and safety waiver upon booking. While a TRAINCATION host will be available at all times, participants are responsible for their own well-being during scheduled activities and free time.

  6. Activity Participation & Itinerary Changes:

    • Participants may choose to skip any itinerary-listed activity, but this will not result in a reduced fee or refund.

    • The itinerary is subject to change, with certain activities potentially replaced by alternatives of similar value and experience. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

  7. Extended Stays: If participants arrive before June 22, 2025, or stay beyond June 29, 2025, they must arrange and cover their own accommodation and expenses. However, airport transfers will still be available for those arriving earlier or departing later.

  8. INA Spa Pass: Grants access to the indoor pool, sauna, and ice baths and a massage of which the duration and type is to be confirmed by the host. Any additional spa services will incur extra charges.**

  9. Training with Yazmin Stevens:***

    • Yazmin Stevens will lead all training sessions and provide a training program for those interested.

    • She will offer coaching and advice while training alongside participants but will not conduct one-on-one coaching.

    • Yazmin will attend specific group activities as per the itinerary.

    • In the event of illness or injury preventing Yazmin from attending a session, a replacement coach will be arranged. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

  10. Insurance Requirement: Participants must secure their own travel insurance, covering both travel and health for the duration of their stay in Malta.

  11. Room Allocation: Rooms will be assigned in the order of bookings received. For double-sharing bookings, participants will be paired with another participant of the same gender unless otherwise requested. Kitchenette is available in certain rooms but is not guaranteed. For a guaranteed room with a kitchette, you must communicate with us beforehand, with the possibility of an extra charge being needed.

From the first TRAINCATION idea to all the logistics: Here is the team that makes TRAINCATIONs happen! Yazmin first thought of a gym vacation concept after so many of her weightlifting friends would visit her for training camps in Malta. She understood the appeal and what her island had to offer, and after taking over Training Room, making this concept a reality just made sense! After presenting the idea to her colleague and friend, Clive, the concept turned into TRAINCATION.
